Royal Enfield’s history is strongly related to the War era, a time when the company’s motorcycles were heavily used on various battlefields. Since then the company continued to build motorcycles and today its models are highly appreciated for their rugged character, classic lines and simple mechanics. The Royal Enfield Classic Battle Green features a vintage design language which draws inspiration from the motorcycles of the 1950s. The bike’s most notable styling cues are the 1950s style nacelle and toolboxes, the traditional paint scheme and the buffed engine components. The motorcycle’s center piece is a single cylinder, 4 stroke engine which has a displacement of 499cc. The engine cranks out a maximum power of 27.2 bhp at 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 41.3 Nm @ 4000 rpm. The engine is married with a modern five speed constant mesh gear box which features a wet, multi-plate clutch.
